Yesterday was my last day in Stockton. I woke up around 10:30 to go to the Vans in Stockton because Jeff wanted to get some pants, but it turns out that they didn’t even have the ones that he wanted. After that, me and Kourtney went to Lollicup and got some boba and chicken for breakfast/lunch. After that, Kourtney studied for awhile, and I just lied in bed because I was tired from waking up early. After Kourtney finished studying and doing her homework, she cooked some spam musubi for dinner. Afterwards, she and some of her friends went to one of her fraternities rush events, and I stayed at her dorm because I like to be anti-social. While she was gone, I took a shower and played guitar for a little while. After she got back home from her rush event, we hung out for a little while, and at a little after midnight, I embarked on the long journey back home. The drive wasn’t that bad at all. I drove to the McDonalds in Stockton to try and buy a Sweet Tea for the road, but it turned out that they had just tore up their drive-thru so no Sweet Tea for me. I got home pretty late that night, and just went straight to sleep.
Yesterday, me and Kourt woke up with a hunger, so we went and got Carne Asada fries from El Forestero. After we ate, we took a nap for awhile, till her chapter meeting. Their chapter meeting was alright. Some people from my chapter (Jen, Liam, and Derek) showed up so I hung out with them for a bit during the meeting. Afterwards we went to In-N-Out and got food there, while sharing stories of our chapters terrible people. Aferwards, me and Kourt went to Krispy Kreme doughnuts to get her a doughnut, which she gobbled right up. After that, we went to sleep.
Today was the day I slept in until 3. The only reason I got out of bed was to shower and pack up to go to Stockton after work. Work was pretty boring. I closed up shop and got a few burgers at Burger King for the long drive to Stockton. There was a bit of a mishap in ordering though. The lady working the drive-thru thought I ordered a Double Whopper instead of a Whopper Jr, so they had to remake my burger on the spot. And it ended up pretty horrible because it was pretty much missing all traces of condiments. Nothing like a super dry burger without any drinks during a long drive.
Stockton was pretty fun though. It was Jeff’s 21st birthday party, and like most Stockton parties, it was pretty fun. By the time me and Kourt got there, the party was already pretty much going strong. Some highlights of the party was the opening of Jeff’s gift, Michael’s dancing, and a lot of awkward photos. After the party, me and Kourtney went back to her place, and slept. I just realized Kourtney’s name is misspelled on this computer. So hah! You’re misspelled Kourt.
Time to catch up on these since I’ve been slacking off for the past few days ughh. Today was another one of my typical days. Slept in, then went to work and had an atypical shift. I worked from 2-6. I like those shifts the best because I don’t have to get there hella early in the morning and have absolutely nothing to do, and I didn’t have to close and clean up everyones mess. After work, I just played computer games til pretty late night, then I slept. Bleh
Woke up feeling motivated today, although it’s hard to say that when one wakes up at around noon. But, I made up for it by going for a run. I wanted to prove to myself that I could actually run well, and not mess up after just a quarter of the way. And today, I actually made it to the end. Felt really proud of myself. Sort of ran a little bit of the ways back, but it’s hard for me to run a full 3 miles with hills. I can easily do 4+ miles without hills, but I can barely do a mile with hills. I need to improve that ratio.
After running, I went to work and closed up shop at Vans. Had an extremely slow day at work. It was one of those days, that you just have to find something to do. One of the most boring days in awhile. I’m not even sure if I reached my goal or not.
And now, I’m just watching tennis again. Going to sleep soon.
Yesterday was somewhat of a boring day. I didn’t really do all that much. Woke up at around 12 and spent most of the day sitting around. I was on call for work at 4, but they didn’t need me. Luckily, around that time, Chris messaged me and asked if I wanted to run, so run we did.
We went to Point Pinole. It’s this park sort of near my house, nestled in between one of the most dangerous ghettos around, and a prison. You’d expect it to be a park not worth visiting, but it’s actually not bad at all. The main trail is around 3 miles with a few hills. Doesn’t sound like much, but I’m terrible at running hills. For some reason, I just get more tired than usual. Anyways, we had a pretty terrible run. We got about a quarter of the way through the trail, when we both got really tired and just stopped. We walked the rest of the way, but it was still a bit of a failure.
Afterwards, I went home and just lounged around. Yeeeeeep
It was actually a pretty interesting day. At around noon, me and my mom went to the bank. I actually made a bad decision here, because I let my mom drive. My mom is one of the scariest people behind the wheel. She has this habit, of breaking at the very last second. Case in point, we were headed 50mph towards a stop sign, and we were only about 30 feet away from the intersection when she started breaking. She made a hard stop right at the line on the road, so hard that the car jerked back, and she thought nothing of it. And to think, she was the one that would yell at me for being a shitty driver everyday after giving me driving lessons. That was the last time I’m ever letting her drive me around. At the bank, I was supposed to switch to E-banking so that I wouldn’t have to get any more paperwork mailed to me, but I ended up doing both that and getting a credit card. So yay, I have a credit card now. I’m never going to use it though. I don’t wanna mess with my credit score. My future depends on that.
After going to the bank and getting dropped off at home by my mom, I headed over to Jessicas house where I met up with her and Chris. We went to go eat lunch/breakfast at this place in Pinole called The New Deli. I’ve been wanting to go here for awhile now, as it’s been on the top of Yelp’s Hot List for the longest time now. And it actually didn’t disappoint. I think I’ve got a new place to go if I want any sandwiches. It’s a higher quality than Subway, at about the same cost. After that we went exploring in the dollar store right next door and wow, I found a bunch of weird stuff in there. Did you know that Arizona, the company that make sour beloved tea drinks, has an energy drink? I didn’t know that either. It was so weird that I had to buy it and give it a try. It tasted like a typical green tea Arizona, except sour and old like it had been left out in the hot sun for too long. Oh and it was also carbonated. I also bought some Jelly Belly beans that were deformed. As in they were the mistakes from the factory and they were oblong shaped and were sometimes 2-3 jelly beans all in one. They all tasted normal, they were just ugly. I also ended up buying a Pretty Little Liar calendar for only a dollar! So cheap! The price on it was originally 15 bucks, so I guess I got a pretty good deal.
After the dollar store, we went to Northgate mall in San Rafael. We really didn’t do that much there. Just went browsing around a few stores. I wasn’t really looking to spend any money though so I didn’t buy anything. Jessica got some pants though. Afterwards, we decided to go get some dinner, so we went to McDonalds where we all split 40 Chicken Nuggets. We went back to Jessicas house, and went on Netflix to have a bit of a movie night. We ended up watching this movie called The Disappeared, which was a bit of a downer of a movie. It wasn’t very scary, and the story wasn’t really all that great either. It had Tom Felton in it though, and throughout the entire movie I kept on expecting him to bust out with a wand and start casting spells. After that, we twiddled around on Netflix trying to find a movie to watch. We ended up watching bits and pieces of movies for the next hour or so, including movies like The Machine Girl and Hobo with a Shotgun. Yep, pretty random movies that were pretty random themselves. Lots of gore and blood. We watched the first scene of The Machine Girl and it was basically a cute schoolgirl shooting a bunch of boys so much that they disintegrated. I thought it was a fun movie but Chris didn’t agree. Afterwards, we watched a few episodes of WildBoyz and Chappelles Show. After that got a little boring, we watched the original Power Rangers movie. My memory must be terrible because I could barely even remember some of those rangers. Otherwise, it was a super cheesy movie. They had like, a catchphrase to say after every enemy they beat up.
After the movie, I went home. It was already pretty late and I felt like a fat ass from pretty much just eating the entire day. I tried to fall asleep, as soon as I got home, but it didn’t really work out that way. I think the Arizona energy drink kind of messed up my system. I ended up not being able to sleep until around 5am. I just spent all those hours messing around on Reddit and finding new and interesting videos to watch. Well I eventually did fall asleep, so that ended that day.
